HTC tablet plans reportedly changed, full-sized Windows RT tablet canceled

We were wondering what an HTC One-like Android tablet would look like, and today we’re wondering what an HTC tablet running Windows RT will look like. Not because we have too much time on our hands but because of a recent report claiming HTC tablet plans have changed.

The rumored full-sized HTC tablet running Windows RT has been reportedly scratched because of the manufacturer’s concern regarding weak demand.  The information comes from “people familiar with the matter”, so treat it accordingly. Aside from weak demand for Windows RT-powered devices, said full-sized tablet would have costed too much.

However, according to the same sources, a smaller, seven-inch HTC tablet running a version of Windows 8 for ARM-based chips is still in the cards for later this year.
