There was a lot of speculation regarding the Huawei Ascend W2. At the end of last year we saw the phone being allegedly pictured and everyone was expecting to see the device at MWC. Nonetheless, at least the picture bit turned out to be true, judging by the render leaked above, and a bit of imagination.
We’re looking at a round-cornered Windows Phone. The Huawei Ascend W2 features what appears to be the compulsory camera button on the right side and the obligatory back, home, and search buttons on the front, apparently backlit in blue. There is no recent mention of possible specs but early rumors implied we should expect a 4.5-inch 720p display, dual-core SoC, 1GB of RAM, eight-megapixel main camera, 2800mAh battery, a 7.7 millimeters thick body.
Whether these internals from older rumors will turn out to be true or not is anyone’s guess. However, press renders popping up always serve as an indication of an imminent announcement.
