According to Cook, Ive is indeed working on a new version of iOS. It will be revealed next month with the occasion of Apple’s yearly WWDC conference. The CEO added that “Jony had contributed significantly to the look and feel of Apple over many many years and could do that for our software as well”. While not giving out any details about the recent rumors of a flat interface, Tim Cook did indeed confirm that Ive was “really key” to the development of Apple’s next generation of mobile OS.
