New Galaxy S 4 Mini Pictures Surface

Taking a break from the Google I/O news for a moment, some new leaked pics have arrived of a phone we were talking about just a little bit earlier this morning, Samsung’s Galaxy S 4 Mini.

The GS4 Mini has appeared on-camera a number of times in recent days, and while all the sightings may only add up to circumstantial evidence, they sure all do seem in line with rumors that the phone could get a formal announcement before the month’s out.

As for specs, there have been some mentioned in various leaks, but we’re still not 100% on what to expect. It would be great if rumors of an Exynos 5 Dual are true, though the possible 4.3-inch qHD display might have been nicer as a 720p version, like on the HTC First. RAM is still a bit of a mystery, but the Mini should at least have a nice big eight-megapixel main camera.

That processor and the GS4 name are nice, but we’re looking at a very-much-mid-range phone here; that’s going to make pricing critical, and we’re curious to see if Samsung can avoid repeating past mistakes with overpriced Galaxy S Minis.
