For those of you that were wondering where Nokia plans to push the Nokia Lumia 925, well the wait and curiosity only lasted a couple of minutes. T-Mobile USA has just confirmed that they will be carrying the device in the USA, and their variant will definitely pack the LTE that take advantage of their new network.
According to T-Mobile, the Nokia Lumia 925 will be their first Windows Phone 8 to pack LTE, which now sheds some light as to why the company refused to provide the functionality to the Lumia 810 recently. Sadly T-Mobile wasn’t clear as to when the device will launch on the carrier, and judging by the press release, this could be a T-Mobile exclusive at least for the initial launch, even though the Lumia 920 never left the clutches of AT&T. You may register for updates on this T-Mobile website provided in the press release.
We’ll bring you more details on this specific variant as they emerge. Currently the Nokia Lumia 925 event is wrapping up and that should definitely clear things up a bit more.
