We’ve witnessed the fact that Sony has tried really hard to return to the smartphone spotlight this year, and sadly hasn’t reached that mark. Our reviews of the Sony Xperia Z and Xperia ZL have proved that the company is on the right path when it comes to software and design, but their poor choices for hardware have left them a step back when compared to every other company on the market. Now we find some leaked photos of a Sony Xperia S39h and sadly things don’t look any better.
If this Sony Xperia S39h follows the company’s codename philosophy, the S stands for a small device, which is proven by the 4.3-inch display. It also retains the same design elements of the Xperia Z and Xperia ZL, though this could just be a cheaper variant that may reach certain specific markets like China.
It’s still too hard to know if the device will raise the bar in other areas, but so far, the leaked photos of this phone, using the same model of phone to capture the photographs doesn’t reveal much. We’ll keep you posted.
