LG sure has been keeping us busy with its smartphone events lately. It kicked-off the month with its Optimus G Pro launch for AT&T, and today we learn that it has another event scheduled to take place before the month’s out, capping things off with a May 30 gathering in Macau, China; what could we hope to see?
Well, as you’ll notice on the invitation above, it’s clear that we’re dealing with something from the Optimus G family. Of course, that still leaves plenty of options, so what might be the most likely?
That Sprint-bound model from yesterday is likely out of the running, because even if there is an international equivalent, it’s too soon for news of a Snapdragon 800 phone. It might be something like the mystery handset we checked out last week, but what about a regional announcement of a phone we’ve already heard about, like LG just did with AT&T?
That new Optimus GK just went official for Korea, so maybe LG has plans to bring it to other Asian nations. Maybe it will be about news of the G Pro’s growing availability. For the moment, there really are a lot of possibilities for this LG smartphone event, and we’ll need something else to help narrow the options down further.
