It’s almost getting funny at this point, the extent to which the cat’s out of the bag when it comes to the Nokia Lumia 928 for Verizon, yet there’s still no formal announcement of the smartphone. As we wait for word, more and more evidence of the model’s existence and impending launch continues to arrive from official sources; we had the billboard yesterday, and today get to share with you both a magazine ad featuring the 928, as well as the phone’s landing page on Nokia’s US site.
The two-page ad in Vanity Fair invites users to “capture the highlights” of their lives using the 928′s camera, a similar theme to the copy that was present on the 928 billboard prior to its removal. The ad contains a link to Nokia’s website, and sure enough the manufacturer has a small landing page for the 928 up there.
While there’s nothing here but the same imagery from the print ad, we’re sure we’ll see Nokia expand upon the page in the days (weeks?) to come. The 928 page only seems to be present on the US version of the site, possibly giving credence to the theory that this will be a Verizon-exclusive device with no international release.
