Thanks to a number of leaks, we’ve got a pretty good idea what the unannounced Nokia Lumia 928 is going to look like. This guy feels like he’s been hanging in the shadows so long that we’re aching to learn when Nokia’s finally planning to go public with the model. With a Nokia event just two weeks away, we’re anxious to see if the 928 will take the spotlight, but in the meantime we might have just caught a sneak peak at the 928 in action, where it might have just showed up at separate Nokia gathering.
This shindig was no product announcement, but a private concert where Nokia provided attendees with Lumia 920 handsets with which they could record the performance. At least, the guests got 920s, but that doesn’t look like it was the only Lumia model in attendance. Some eagle-eyed Windows Phone fans noticed the presence of models like the ones above, secured to various tripods. While a bit obscured, we can make out a few cues that seem to point to these being 928s.
On the left up there, look at the elongated flash, which looks a lot like the xenon component we’ve seen in leaked 928 renders. While we haven’t had a good look at the 928′s top and bottom edges yet, it’s clear that whatever’s on the right here isn’t a Lumia 920 (check out the port placement), adding some more fuel to the fire.
