Samsung Galaxy S 4 Mini Hits a Setback? Delays Reported

What’s going on with the Galaxy S 4’s little brother, the GS4 Mini? We were hearing all about it last month, but then it kinda drifted off the radar. Now a new rumor suggests that Samsung could be delaying the phone slightly before launch, making us wait an extra two months to get our hands on it.

The GS4 Mini was previously believed to be in preparations for a launch sometime during the week of May 20. That would let it follow right on the coattails of the full-sized GS4, which was in line with what we had heard about the launch.

Now, however, a rumor claims that the GS4 Mini won’t come out until the week of July 15, instead, already well into summer.

Honestly, we’re not sure this delay will cause a lot of sore feelings. While the GS4 Mini sounds like a perfectly serviceable smartphone, it’s not quite the dream of a really top-of-the-line phone in a smaller package that we’ve been hoping for.
