Last week Facebook announced its new “home on Android” which turned out to be a home screen bringing all your social life to the forefront of your phone. Of course there was also the HTC First paired with it but Facebook’s new apps will run on any phone (with a couple of limitations though).
You can take a look at it right now, while you wait for the official launch of the app on the 12th of April, by installing these leaked APK files at your own risk. In order to get everything in place you’ll need to install all three files (the app itself, the messenger app, and the launcher). These are all pre-release versions (grabbed from a pre-release HTC First ROM) so you might encounter some bugs or weird functionality.
Follow the source link below to grab the files and read through the prerequisites and how to install, which is pretty simple.
Update: …and it appears to be no longer working. We’ve tried it on different Nexus 4 devices as well as the HTC One and Samsung Galaxy Note II; the home is blank (black).
