Best Buy is definitely doing everything they can to recreate themselves. At first we saw how they teamed-up with Apple in order to create small Apple Stores within each Best Buy with the idea of providing a similar “Apple Store” experience within, and as a matter of fact, it’s worked out quite well for both companies.
Now even with Samsung’s success on the smartphone arena without having one single retail store in the United States, it’s clear that the company hasn’t really taken off in the tablet space, and it doesn’t lead any of the other categories in consumer electronics either. As a result, Samsung and Best Buy have just made it official that they will team-up to create the Samsung retail experience. As with Apple, this Samsung section will be unique, and it’ll allow you to experience and test almost every Samsung product before you decide to buy.
The plan is to reach 1,400 retail locations starting with a staggering 900 this month alone, so stay tuned for a Samsung Store near you. It begs to wonder what’s left for Samsung to copy from Apple, right?
