Facebook’s April 4 Event Might Not Bring a Phone, But BlinkFeed-Like Home Screen

There were numerous rumors in the past putting HTC and Facebook together on the same team again for a future possible “Facebook phone”. These rumors were revived yesterday with a press invite sent out by Facebook to an event where the social network will show off its “new home on Android”.

However, the tagline, “new home on Android”, could exactly be just that, a home screen. According to the latest coming from unnamed sources, Facebook is planning to bring a home screen to Android phones — the first screen one sees after turning the phone on — which will feature content from your Facebook account.

This is pretty much close to what BlinkFeed in the HTC One is and does. No wonder, same sources claim knowledge that this feature will be first introduced exclusively on HTC phones.
