Motorola After the X Phone: New Rumor Looks to What’s Next

Yesterday we got a whole boatload of new rumors regarding Motorola’s X phone to weed through, backing down from some of those “customizable” claims from earlier, talking about a launch window, and briefly mentioning some other Motorola devices. Tonight a little bit of new info comes our way, once again tackling the issue of those other Motorola models.

According to this source, once the X phone is out, Motorola has at least three more phones it’s been working on. Two of those three should be landing in the third quarter of the year, and while info on the duo is sparse, there’s apparently a notable size difference between the two. We realize, that’s not much to go on, but at least we know we’re not talking about another phone/Maxx pair.

Following those, the last model would arrive in Q4, and is supposedly being positioned just like a Nexus model. This source doesn’t go as far as to say that this is Motorola building the Nexus 5, but does indicate that the phone would be sold off-contract and for a price that might even beat the Nexus 4’s. Nexus or not, that sounds pretty darn compelling.
