The introduction of tiered and shared data plans, unfortunately, brought pesky overages along with them. Unlike minutes and text messages, however, monitoring data can be a bit more ambiguous. You can easily quantify minutes and text messages with a simple count. With data, the only option is to watch your usage and monitor a few different sources that count the bytes as they’re used. However, tracking data can still be tricky, and no one likes overages.
