Back when the Galaxy S 4 was still one big rumor, we started hearing about it in conjunction with the GS4 Mini. It sounded like there was a chance that both models would launch at the same time, which clearly hasn’t happened. Could the Mini’s debut still be in the cards for Samsung, coming up just around the corner? We were starting to have our doubts, but now a whole mess of pictures have surfaced, seemingly showing off the Galaxy S 4 Mini.
Unlike the WVGA GS3 Mini, this new model would reportedly feature a qHD screen, while growing from 4 to 4.3 inches. It may have a 1.6GHz dual-core SoC, though just which chip that could be is still up in the air. None of that is quite what we were hoping for, but at least it’s an improvement over last year’s model. According to these images, the phone will arrive as Samsung’s model GT-I9190, compared to the GS3 Mini’s I8190.
While earlier rumors suggested the GS4 Mini would be available by late May, apparently we’re now looking at a launch sometime in June or July.
