After seeing the looks and specs of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 we made a bold prediction regarding the Samsung Galaxy Note III in our Pocketnow Live show: since the S 4 looks almost identical to the S III, we’re betting Samsung will utilize these design guidelines to make the Note III look almost identical to the Note II (which is following the outer aspect of the S III).
History also teaches us that the Note usually comes with a spec-bump from that year’s S-Phone but what exactly does Samsung have in mind, or whether they’ll prove us right or wrong, is yet unknown… to us.
However, some high-ranking AT&T executives will reportedly see at least the looks of the upcoming Note III. Samsung’s Unpacked event for the phablet usually happens at the end of August, before or during IFA. We expect the same thing to happen this year.
Korea Times reports that Samsung will show the Galaxy Note III’s mockup to executives within the carrier, at a “senior-level meeting with AT&T” happening in Suwon, South Korea. Said mock-up will only unveil the aspect of the phablet with no internals at all but we’re hearing, from the same source, that a 5.9–inch Full HD screen will be included.
