Smartphone nuts like us demand the newest and best hardware. Retailers like Amazon are all too aware of this, so when something better comes along, you’d better believe that it’s interested in offloading old stock. With the Galaxy S IV just about to go official, Samsung is trying to wring a few more sales out of the Galaxy S III towel, offering some big savings on both it and the Galaxy Note II.
The biggest discount is for the Galaxy S III on Verizon, which Amazon is knocking down to just one cent on-contract, down from around $70. Sprint’s GS3 sports the same offer, though it already had that price, and AT&T’s GS3 drops from near $80 down to $50.
As for the Note II, once again Sprint has a great deal, lowering the price of the phablet from about $100 to $70, and while AT&T’s Note II costs a bit more, it sees an even larger discount, falling from $200 to $150.
Sure, we’ll probably see similar sales from the carriers themselves in the weeks following the GS4′s launch, but if you’re itching for a new phone today, these might be some good options. All prices are for new customers only.
