The Samsung Galaxy Pop and the Galaxy Premier are basically one and the same device, with the exception of the processor. While the Galaxy Premier packs a dual-core processor the Galaxy Pop got a quad-core chip clocking at 1.4GHz; the rest looks to be the same, including the 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display, 8- and 16GB internal memory options, eight-megapixel main camera, two-megapixel webcam, and 2,100mAh battery.
The Galaxy Pop was officially announced at the very end of January but the available color options, white and grey, have been extended to include a bright orange flavor, hopefully appealing to the young. You’ll only be able to get it on carriers in South Korea but if it was available in your region, would you opt for this fruity flavor? In its home market it will cost 700,000 won (about $640). We’re betting there’s at least one carrier around the world that finds this attractive!
