Samsung Kicks-Off Series of Galaxy S IV Teaser Videos

We’ve got ten days to go until Samsung finally shares the Galaxy S IV with the world, and Samsung, not content to leave us anxiously awaiting the launch all alone, has a new teaser video out to help whet our appetites.

Last week we were talking about some comments from one of Apple’s old ad guys, who said that Apple was losing ground to companies like Samsung that made their commercials just as much about people, as opposed to mainly about products. That seems like an apt assessment to keep in mind now, as Samsung’s new teaser invites us to meet Jeremy, the little boy tasked with protecting the secret of the Galaxy S IV, without really showing us anything about the phone itself at all.

In fact, all we get to see of the GS4 is the otherworldly glow it gives off, with the Samsung Unpacked box serving as a Marsellus Wallace’s briefcase of sorts. Ultimately, it’s not about the phone at all – it’s about the hype, and getting us thinking about the launch.

From the looks of things, Samsung intends to make this a series of videos, so you can bet that over the next several days we’ll be seeing more of little Jeremy and learn if lives up to the responsibilities of his task, safeguarding the Galaxy S IV.
