It feels like it’s been a while since Motorola came out with a hot new Android. Sure, there were the new RAZR HD models back in October, and even though they stepped things up to 720p displays, they were still dual-core phones in what was rapidly solidifying as a quad-core market. Now this rumored X phone is on the horizon, but from the sound of things it’s still at least three months out. What’s Motorola to do in the meantime, when the likes of Sony, HTC, and LG have already announced their new flagships? Well, it’s just revealed a new promotion where buyers of eligible models can score a free $50 Google Play credit.
We know, that’s not the biggest incentive in the world, but if you were already leaning towards picking up a budget-priced model, Motorola’s offer might be enough to sweeten the deal. The RAZR HD can be had for just $50 on-contract, and being able to load it up with new apps might be a nice touch.
If you’re interested, you’ll need to buy an eligible phone by March 4. Check out the list of included models through the source link below.
