With the Mobile World Congress just around the corner, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 should just be a matter of days away from going official. While we’re obviously looking forward to getting the official full story on the tablet, we can’t help but be drawn to all the rumors that continue to attempt giving us an early idea of just how the Note 8.0 will arrive. The latest to come our way concern the tablet’s European retail launch, a subject we’ve covered before.

Last time, the prices we heard were a little nuts, at least from a US perspective, but really weren’t that odd considering what other tablets sell for in Austria. Today we shift focus to Bulgaria, where a rumor suggests that the Galaxy Note 8.0 will sell for about $480 and become available sometime in late March.

That’s for the WiFi-only version, and the cellular-enabled Note 8.0 would go in Bulgaria for closer to what works out to $600. These are already cheaper than those Austrian prices, and honestly, we’d expect to see them even lower in the US – just how much is hard to say, but it’s not inconceivable that Samsung could price the tablet to generally be in line with Apple’s iPad mini.
