We’ve all been there. You pull your phone out of your pocket and notice something is off. Slide past the lock screen and you notice that, for whatever reason, your phone is back to factory settings. (For the record, I have had this happen with every mobile OS I have used to date.) Or maybe you have lost a phone. Having to go through the motions to get your phone back to how it should be is never a fun process. It’s time consuming, and sometimes important information is gone forever, irrecoverable.
