We’ve already seen official imagery of the five-inch version of LG’s Optimus G Pro, the one destined for Japan, but our interested has really been focused on the 5.5-inch model, the one planned for LG’s native South Korea, and hopefully elsewhere. A week ago, we got a nice, clear look at that version in a user-taken image, but today LG comes through with its own official Optimus G Pro shot, releasing a press render on its social site.
This new pic is a dead ringer for last week’s, and lest you think we’re still looking at the five-incher, check out the placement of the phone’s proximity sensor, next to the front-facing camera here, but on the opposite site for the five-inch model.
Compared to some of the other players, LG has been remarkably candid with its MWC offerings, yesterday confirming the L3 II, L5 II, and L7 II. Sure, that doesn’t mean that we’re not still interested to have the chance to check them out ourselves in Barcelona, but could this kind of early look at everything be taking some of the air out of its announcements?
Update: LG’s got a statement to go along with this pic, confirming the phone and some of its specs.
