Android 4.1.2 Reportedly Rolling Out To the Samsung Galaxy S II

February was the time frame mentioned for the official Android Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S II, at least in Singapore, but there were reports of the Samsung 2011 flagship getting the refresh in Spain earlier. According to reports, the big switch has been flipped and devices should be getting the new version of Android soon.

The roll-out is apparently being spread out in phases but those who are lucky to get it will receive Android 4.1.2 with the ROM build JZO54K. Aside from all the Jelly Bean goodies (like Google Now and Project Butter) there’s also a new TouchWiz, two home screen modes as well as notification toggles.
