The 4.99-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display that Samsung showed off at CES will soon go into production. According to recent reports from Korea, the phone-maker will start manufacturing the displays towards the end of the month, with screens being delivered to Samsung Electronics in early March.
The Samsung Galaxy S IV, which has been the centerpiece of recent Android rumors, is expected to be unveiled soon — not at MWC, but depending on rumors, in March or April — is expected to ship with the aforementioned display. Behind the display there should be, if the reports are legit, an Exynos 5 eight-core SoC, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel main camera, two-megapixel front facer, and Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box with TouchWiz UI on top of it.
