Google France: No Android Booth At This Year’s MWC

About this time last year, probably a week shy, Google has posted a page letting everyone know that the huge Android booth is being prepared at MWC 2012. Those who’ve been to the Barcelona-show or have been following MWC news closely know that every year Google’s booth gets greener, larger, and busier.

It appears that this year Google will be skipping MWC, with its Android booth. A spokesperson from Google France has stated: “I can confirm that indeed […] we will not have a booth at MWC this year. However, the Android team will be present in Barcelona to support its partners”.

The huge Android booth had lots of mini-stands where OEMs and software makers could show off their products. Smoothie bars and all, it looks like Google is another company that decided to go its own way skipping the world’s largest mobile trade show.
