We might as well take the HTC M7 for granted with the company’s CEO, Peter Chou, showing the device off to the drooling masses. The February 19 event is likely about this new Android flagship for the year and the device was omnipresent in leaks, reports and rumors in the recent past.
Subject to speculation is the so-called “ultrapixel” sensor rumored to be part of the new Android flagship and an official HTC infographic seems to hint just that. As you can see in the crop above (full infographic at the source link below), the company is preparing a new sound and camera experience this year. What could this all mean? Better imaging experience due to new technology which, according to reports, could imply a stacked design where multiple color samples are taken from each pixel — also rumored are three separate 4.3-megapixel sensors instead of a single 13.1-megapixel one.
We’ll be there in New York on the 19th this month for an HTC event and we’ll definitely be there in Barcelona for the MWC to bring you all the details!
Let us know: what do you wish for in HTC cameras this year?
