Chances are high that the HTC M7 will be announced on February 19 and displayed at MWC but it looks like the Taiwanese phone maker still has a couple of other phones up its sleeve for this year. These new devices might be part of the same family as the M7 but could be launched separately. We hope to see them at MWC but according to reports spring is when they’ll be available.
The HTC M4 should definitely have something in common with the M7 judging by the naming convention. It is rumored to sport a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon SoC, 4.3-inch 720p screen, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal storage, 13-megapixel rear camera, LTE capability and Android 4.2 on-board with HTC Sense 5 on top of it.
The HTC G2 is said to have no ties with the previous G1. Instead, it should be an entry-level phone with its 1GHz processor, 3.5-inch HVGA display, 512MB of RAM, 4GB internal storage, five-megapixel camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on board.
While these are just rumors, HTC will definitely aim to fill all the holes in the market with phones in all categories to go along with the flagship M7. We’ll let you know more as soon as we find out and we believe MWC could be the perfect place for the company to show these off.
