You know all those rumors about a pre-MWC HTC event for February 19? The ones that came back around just earlier this morning, again hinting at would could be the company’s launch event for its rumored M7 flagship? Well, we still can’t positively say just what HTC plans to announce, but the event itself has just become quite real, upon HTC distributing invitations.

We had previously speculated that if HTC really was going to get a heard start on MWC-proximal announcements, it was going to need to get invitations out really soon. Well, sure enough, HTC has confirmed that it’s holding a press event on February 19. While previous rumors looked to a London venue for the festivities, it turns out HTC’s doing its announcement in New York City, instead, and you can bet that Pocketnow will be on-hand to bring you news of whatever HTC sees fit to reveal.
