Amazon Lets You Automatically Upload Mobile Photos To Its Cloud Drive

Facebook on iOS, Dropbox, and Google’s Plus are some offerings which allow you to automatically upload pictures taken on the go with your phone (or tablet) for safe keeping and/or sharing. Amazon is now joining these with its Cloud Drive Photos and the description: “never lose the photos from your phone again”.

Initially, Cloud Drive Photos allowed you to upload pictures manually for safe keeping but the latest update introduces automatic uploads. The default setting after installation is for images to automatically be saved on the cloud so you might want to check that if you worry about reaching your 5GB storage quota. There’s also Camera functionality buried in the settings so if you’re bound to the Amazon ecosystem this refresh is something you’ll definitely like.
