Another Desire you say? Don’t worry, this appears to be just a regional variant of a phone we’ve had the pleasure of meeting at IFA last year. If you think it shamelessly resembles the Desire X, you’re right! And the resemblance doesn’t stop on the outside!
Specs are roughly the same, with the Desire U, pictured above on HTC’s Taiwanese page, packing a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, WVGA resolution, 4GB of Internal Storage, and a five-megapixel rear camera. It’s a mid-ranger alright but if you like the looks of it, which are in-line with HTC’s past design guidelines of the One-series, you can look for the Desire U in Taiwan (or the Desire X for that matter in select markets).
