Back in December we learned about numbers for the US market (and not only) with reference to platform performance and market share for the period ending November 25. Apple was recording a historical high and according to the latest Kantar Worldpanel ComTech USA’s consumer panel figures it continues to dominate the US market ahead of Google.
51.2% is what iOS holds of the entire US market for the period that ended just before Christmas, up from 44.9% last year. Android has a very slight regress from 44.8% to 44.2% while RIM is losing ground real fast. Meanwhile Windows Phone is slightly catching up, but still far away, with 2.6%.
