The LG Optimus G, announced on September 18, made its way to the U.S., alongside other markets likeĀ Canada, Japan, South Korea; a company spokesperson unveiled plans for the phone to officially land in China and several countries in Europe in the first quarter of the year.
Ever since its launch, LG managed to sell one million Optimus G units. The number refers to worldwide sales and was unveiled by the South Korean company on Friday. Given that this is by no means a full, worldwide device roll-out, the one million number looks like a great figure. It is far from Samsung’s or Apple’s best selling phone figures but we’ll know how the Optimus G performed against expectations on January 30, when LG is set to unveil itsĀ fourth-quarter earnings.
