When comparing screens across devices or from one iteration to the follow up we always mention, when it’s the case, that there is some slight color temperature difference between the displays; some are warmer, some are cooler, some offer more saturated colors while others are natural or even washed out.
White balance, hue, and color saturation is something you might be able to tweak on your own on the Xperia ZL if the info in the image above is to be believed. Of course, the ZL and the Z are pretty much alike so this feature is likely to be available on the Xperia Z as well. Then there’s also a chance that this is pre-production software and the feature will never make it to devices shipped even though we wish this was standard on every device.
