The latest system update to arrive for RIM’s BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha handsets has arrived, and with it, a whole bunch of new images of the full-touch Z10, along with a short video showing off the BBM video call support we’ve been wondering about lately.
The image set highlights some of the key software features that RIM will likely highlight in its BB10 promotion. BBM video calling is confirmed again here, and we get a chance to check out the white version of the Z10 hardware.
All the big US carriers are on-board with BlackBerry 10, and with RIM’s big launch event just two-and-a-half weeks away, it won’t be long at all before we finally get a chance to check out these phones for ourselves and see if the months and months of hype really end up delivering. Things have certainly been looking up for RIM as of late, but we don’t want to get too excited before seeing how the platform is received; there’s some steep competition RIM will have to face if it wants to regain its share of the market.
