After More Delays, ASUS Nexus 7 Dock Finally About To Arrive

Remember that neatly-matching Nexus 7 dock we took a couple looks at late last year? The one that didn’t even surface until nearly half a year after the tablet’s debut? Well, we were hoping for it to show up right around New Year’s, but that just hasn’t happened. So, where is it? Apparently it’s still on the way, and should finally start shipping within the next two weeks.

That two-week claim comes from one The Verge’s sources, while B&H Photo, which has been taking pre-orders for the dock, is expecting it to land a little sooner, now saying that it should be available as of January 16.

Any way you cut it, it’s sounding likely that the dock will arrive before the end of the month, but that’s still sorely overdue. Are any of you Nexus 7 owners planning to pick one up once they’re out, or has owning your tablet for so long already without an official dock managed to convince you that you really don’t need one, anyway?

Besides the start of sales in the States, the UK will soon be getting the dock as well, for what works out to about the same $40 price tag.
