Part of its “patch Tuesday”, Microsoft has issued a number of updates. Among the usual fixes for Windows and other products there’s also an update for Windows RT. It is apparently an update specific to the Microsoft Surface, the company’s first tablet running the RT version of its Windows platform.
The new firmware further improves the slate providing System Firmware (UEFI) improvements including improvements to audio playback when in Connected Standby as well as additional capabilities for handling firmware updates during low battery situations.
To check for updates’ availability, go to PC Settings, Settings, Change PC settings, Windows Update, Check for Updates.
