Sprint has announced that the company has reached a preliminary agreement with representatives of the American radio industry; as a direct effect, during the next three years, select Android and Windows smartphone users will be able to listen to FM radio stations on their handsets.
These stations will be delivered either via tuner applications like NextRadio – to be available later in 2013 – or other radio titles and services.
Additionally, the Now Network also announced the launch of Entertain Me, an application bundle and service which is offering Sprint TV, Movies, Music Plus as well as Spotify, Slacker, iHeartRadio, Shazam and Rumpus.
