Samsung’s Windows Phone 8 smartphone have been a long time coming, and after a no-show at the platform’s launch, we finally saw the manufacturer’s ATIV S arrive last month. That’s not the only ATIV we were waiting for, though, and just yesterday Samsung got around to announcing Verizon’s ATIV handset, the ATIV Odyssey. At the 2013 CES in Las Vegas, we had an opportunity to check out the new WP8 phone in person.
The ATIV S is just a bit lower-end than models like the Lumia 920, only offering a four-inch WVGA display. Despite that, it’s got a speedy enough 1.5GHz dual-core SoC, so if you’re interested in a Windows Phone handset that’s just a little smaller than a 4.5-inch model, it might be worth a look. Check out our hands-on video to see just what we though of this new entry from Samsung:
