Remember just how bad Maps on iOS 6 was? Well, here’s another medal of horror that we can all hang on Scott Forstall’s wall. Lot’s of iOS customers were reportedly annoyed because the iOS 6 feature “Do Not Disturb” didn’t work after the new year began. As it turns out though, the problem is sadly bigger than even Apple expected.
According to Apple’s new support document, the problem will persist until January 7th. They aren’t really specific as to why the bug exists, but just as lots of us weren’t woken-up by iOS 5 last year, I guess it’s only common to not rely on Apple products every time a year begins.
I know many of us simply refrain from using Do Not Disturb as a feature because it’s half-backed, but for those of you that do use it, we’re sorry you couldn’t get a good-nights sleep yesterday.
