BlackBerry 10 N-Series/X10 Fully Exposed On Camera?
Last week, we got a chance to see what may have been the first image to leak of RIM’s upcoming BlackBerry 10 handset with the company’s iconic inclusion of a hardware keyboard, the N-series (now rumored to launch as the X10). Unfortunately, that view was only from behind, and we still hadn’t had the opportunity to see any more than a render of the phone’s front side. If we’re to believe the latest imagery, that may have now changed, with a new leak purporting to finally give us a proper look at the N-series hardware.
The handset on the right appears to nicely match the renders we’ve seen of the N-series, as well as the leaked pic of the phone’s keyboard component. What’s more intriguing, though, is that white model, the likes of which we haven’t seen before. We’ve heard RIM has been thinking about multiple color options for the full-touch Z10, but this isn’t just a color swap here; there are some other small hardware changes. Notice the absence of the metallic lines between rows of keys, for one.
There’s a theory that this white model may be the Dev Alpha C, the QWERTY version of RIM’s BB10 development handset. That could actually make a lot of sense, as there are some other design changes beyond just the keyboard. Look at how the screen is aligned on the white handset, and how the above-screen BlackBerry branding on the black version pushes the display down lower.
That considered, we’re not sure at all if we’ll see a white version of the X10, or at least not one that look exactly like this.
