Windows Phone 7.8 ROMs have recently popped up on Navifirm for the Nokia Lumia 510, 800 and 900, making the official roll-out just a matter of days. According to recent reports, out of the three phones mentioned above, the Lumia 800 is the first one to officially receive the Windows Phone 7.8 update.
According to reports from Europe the firmware is delivered via the Zune software, as a “Nokia update”. Once acknowledged the system will install four updates. At the end of the process you will be greeted with the new Home Screen and all the goodies which are included in the Windows Phone 7.8 refresh, courtesy of Microsoft or Nokia itself (worth mentioning are new accent colors, Bluetooth Sharing, Ringtone Maker and Cinemagraph apps).
