With all the back and forth regarding the launch of the Samsung ATIV S — otherwise the first Windows Phone 8 device ever officially announced, apparently the last on the shelves — it is reassuring to hear some good news if you are a fan of the platform and of the South Korean manufacturer.
Samsung still promised a 2012 launch of the phone — and it appeared recently on T-Mobile Austria — and it looks like our neighbors in Canada will be the lucky ones, if this report is to be believed. According to the leak above, Friday, December 14, 2012 is the day you should be able to snatch one from Bell Canada. The good folks over at MobileSyrup have heard similar news from Telus and Rogers. As far as Bell’s pricing is concerned, it should go for $79.95 (Canadian) on a 3-year and $599.95 (Canadian) outright.
