We’re no stranger to the Lumia 8xx series of Windows Phone 8 devices here at Pocketnow. The Lumia 810 got our full review treatment a little while back, the Lumia 822 helped us launch our new Quick Review format just a couple days ago, and just this afternoon, we received the device that served as the basis for both of those custom variants. Its 4.3-inch AMOLED display, 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU, and 8MP camera haven’t changed, but the radio guts, casing design, look and feel are something else entirely. Behold: the Nokia Lumia 820 for AT&T.
Click below for the first of the three segments that will eventually comprise the video portion of our final Quick Review. In this installment, we unbox the phone, take you for a quick hardware tour, and give the device its first taste of life with an initial boot-up. We do it all, that is, after we manage to figure out the device’s … unique protective films and folds. Click on for the most hilariously frustrating unboxing we’ve had in a while, and stay tuned for much more on the Lumia 820 in the days ahead.
