There was an Android 4.1.2 ROM leaked for the Samsung Galaxy S II and since the current flagship can’t lag behind we’ve learned that the manufacturer was also working on the same OS version update for the Galaxy S III. According to reports the update is not only ready but it is now also being delivered to phones.

First ones to get it are the international variants of the phone (the GT-I9300) but since the roll-our is phased it might depend on your region. Aside from the new platform version Samsung also included goodies like the rumored and long-awaited Multi-View (the multi-window from the Galaxy Note II), a new Gallery app (the same as on Note II), customizable notification panel, smart rotation functionality, continues input in the Samsung Keyboard (pretty much like the Android 4.2 keyboard), and more.

Be on the lookout for the refresh either over-the-air of through the KIES application and let us know if your device has received it.
