Nokia Introduces Lumia 620, Budget Windows Phone 8

The Lumia 920 and the Lumia 820 (together with its US carrier variants) were Nokia’s only Windows Phone 8 offerings up until a couple of moments ago when the Finnish phone maker — who recently sold its Espoo HQ — introduced the newest member of the family, the Lumia 620.

The most affordable smartphone from Nokia running Windows Phone 8 will go for $249 plus taxes and will be available from Q1 2013. It will pack a 3.8-inch TFT ClearBlack WVGA display at 480 x 800 resolution, 512MB of RAM, 8GB internal memory and microSD card support, five-megapixel main shooter, VGA front facer, 1 GHz Dual Core Snapdragon S4 processor, plus all the usual suspects including NFC.
