Nexus 4 Returning To Play Store For European Markets

Interested in a Nexus 4? You’re not alone, and the massive demand has made getting your hands on the Android a little difficult. In the US, for instance, the 8GB version of the phone is totally out-of-stock, and the 16GB version is on a pretty serious back-order. Even with that wait, at least you can place an order for the handset; not everyone’s been so lucky. For you European smartphone fans who have been wondering when you’d get another shot at snagging the Nexus 4, you’d better get your credit cards ready, as the phone’s about to hit the Play Store again in just a matter of minutes.

Google’s been sending out notices to users who had provided their email addresses for receiving Nexus 4 updates, informing them that the phone will be going back up for sale in their markets at 5pm local time today. Specifically, we’ve heard of plans to make the phone available to customers in Germany and the UK, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see neighboring nations get their own shots, as well.

It’s going to be 5pm in Germany in just a few minutes, while it’s still over an hour away in the UK. Considering how quickly these new units might move, and Google’s predilection for getting things started a little early, we’d suggest checking in at Google Play early, and often.
