If your attempt to buy the Nexus 4 when Google first kicked-off sales resulted in a back-order, you’ve probably already received a notification that your phone is finally shipping this week. Once your new toy arrives, be sure to check out Google Play for some of the free media bonuses Google is looking to hook you up with.
It’s not just new Nexus 4 owners who can get in on this action, and with a few differences, similar offers are available for the Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. Nexus 4 owners – at least those living in the US – will be able to watch the third Transformers flick, last-year’s two-hour series premiere of Falling Skies, and the first episode of the acclaimed Planet Earth documentary series.
On the tablets, though, you won’t find Falling Skies at all, and instead of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the free bonus movie is Ice Age, instead. Hey, free is free, though, so don’t forget to check out Google Play once your new Nexus arrives to get started enjoying some of this gratis entertainment.
We know, this deal’s been around for a while, (the Transformers offer, at least) but with so many users first getting their hands on a Nexus device just now, it can’t hurt to have a little reminder.
