According to reports some owners of HTC Windows Phone 8X devices, as well as Nokia Lumia 920 phones, are experiencing random reboot issues. While others might be just fine, the issue is affecting an unspecified number of phone, to the extent that Microsoft and OEMs promised to look into it.
Microsoft believes to have reportedly identified the reboot problem. “We’re continuing to investigate some reports of phones rebooting and have identified a cause with our partners. We are working to get an over-the-air update out in December”, says a Microsoft statement. Further details about the problem itself are lacking and so are those concerning the phones affected, whether this is a model-specific issue or a general platform problem.
